Nokia Oro with Premium Leather Back and 18 carat Gold Plating

Nokia introduces its Oro smartphone, a luxury version of the Nokia C7. The Oro is crafted from 18 carat gold for a touch of elegance and features premium leather on it back and a home key made of sapphire crystal.


The Nokia Oro, just like the C7, features a 3.5-inch AMOLED touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording, Bluetooth and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The phone has 8GB internal memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. It comes in Light and Dark versions.
Coming in Q3, Nokia will see the Oro for Euro 800 with a Nokia J headset in a box.

Softbank Sharp 007SH AQUOS PHONE THE HYBRID Clamshell runs Android

While most Android phones are in bar-type or QWERTY slider form factor, there are also a few clamshell Android smartphones, including NTT docomo Sharp SH-01B/Sharp SH7218U, Samsung W899 and Motorola Ming A1680. Here comes another flip Android phone, the Sharp 007SH AQUOS PHONE THE HYBRID to be released by Softbank in Japan in June. The phone is also waterproof with IPX5/IPX7 rating.


The Softbank 007SH runs Android 2.3. It features a 3.4-inch 854×480 Mobile ASV LCD display, a 0.7-inch OLED external display, a 16 Megapixel auto focus camera, and built-in 1Seg TV tuner. It supports GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. There is also a microSD/SDHC card slot.
The Sharp 007SH supports WCDMA 3G and GSM networks. It will come in blue, pink, white and black.

Verizon Motorola DROID 3 Detailed

Following the DROID and DROID 3, Motorola is planning the latest DROID 3, which will also be a QWERTY slider smartphone running Android OS. According to TechnoBuffalo, the DROID 3 will be powered by a dual-core processor, either Tegra 2 or OMAP. It will have a 4-inch qHD touchscreen and a 8 Megapixel camera. However, don’t expect LTE 4G on the DROID 3.

Acoustic Research launches the ARS35i, a rotating speaker docking station for iPad. The dock offers motorized 90-degree rotation, allowing users to switch from portrait to landscape at the touch of a button. It is app-enhanced which means it can be used with supported iPhone/iPad apps to extend the functionality.


The ARS35i provides 10W x 2 output and it plays and charges not only iPad but also iPhone and iPod. It includes component video output that lets users to enjoy iPad/iPhone/iPod video on their TV. The dock also offers audio input for other media players. A remote control is included.
